What is the definition of psychotherapy?
Some people who suffer from mental disorders choose the easy way by taking medical drugs such as sedatives, stimulants or sleeping pills- without even consulting competent Psychiatric…..

This is the easiest way, which is considered as a mere instantaneous treatment. Unfortunately, its consequences are very negative in the long run. It affects brain function, concentration rate, social relations, and individual life in general. Not only that, but the development of the addiction to a certain type of medical drugs as a result of their values with some of the brain’s basic functions and materials produced by the brain naturally. Excessive use of these drugs makes the brain a bit idle in many major functions, because it has negatively performed some of its basic functions and therefore, the brain will not able to produce them normally as a result of easily getting from other easier source. The brain’s inactivity is reflected negatively on the life of the individual and is transmitted by the individual to become in a state of inertia and introversion and inability to continue live normally or may reach the lack of desire to live in principle in some severe cases. This is developed as a result of these behaviors.

The solution:
Most of psychological disorders can be resolved mainly by the hands of the patient himself, and what is done by the Therapist is only to help the patient to know the solution that is already their at the heart and minds of the patient.
This can be simply described as helping someone getting out of a dark cave that he choose to enter voluntarily, what the is only doing, is to lighting this dark cave to give the patient the ability to see the direction clearly. The use of medical drugs in psychotherapy should be very limited or even restricted under complete supervision of competent Psychiatric and should not be the first step in treatment.
This can be used in advanced critical cases or when a defect is discovered in the normal functions of the brain. Moreover, these drugs should never be a substitute the normal functions of the brain, but just trigger to the brain to perform its basic functions as normal, and this must be withdrawn gradually once its mission is done. It takes faith and enthusiasm with some effort and strong willingness at the beginning which by the time will help the patient to return to normal life gradually.

Psychotherapy aims to improve an individual’s well-being and mental health, to resolve or mitigate troublesome behaviors, beliefs, compulsions, thoughts, or emotions, and to improve relationships and social skills. Certain psychotherapies are considered evidence-based for treating some diagnosed mental disorders
